Kayako Endpoint Requests Formatting - Placeholders Do Not Return Required Values

Overview

You are working on setting up an endpoint, e.g. you are trying to set up an endpoint to send critical tickets to. However. you may have issues when a trigger sends a request, some of the placeholder does not contain the corresponding data, instead you see the placeholder variable instead {{case.Subject}} or {{case.ID}} and you want to know how to format placeholders correctly. 

Solution

Please make sure to use all lowercase characters when entering placeholder variables, as they are case sensitive.

For example, {{case.ID}} will not work, however, {{case.id}} will return the desired conversation ID.
