Trashing Conversations in Kayako iOS Mobile App

Overview

Spam, newsletters, and other automated messages will sometimes end up cluttering your inbox. But you do not need to wait until you are back at your desk to clear out unwanted conversations. You can trash or delete a conversation either directly from a view or from within the conversation itself while using the Kayako iOS mobile app. 

 

Diagnosis

Kayako created an app for both Android and iOS so you can stay in touch with your clients and your team, wherever you are. Kayako apps are free and available for both iOS and Android devices.

The Kayako mobile app for iOS allows you to trash or delete conversations from your inbox if you need some tidying up while you're away from your computer. 

NOTE: This platform does not support the restoring of deleted conversations, unlike the Kayako Android Mobile App.

 

Prerequisites

• To use the Kayako mobile app, you will need an agent or administrator account to log in with.
• Installed Kayako App on your iPad or iPhone from the App store.

 

Solution

To trash a conversation from within a view:

1. Launch the Kayako app and sign in to your account.
2. Tap a view to see the list of conversations.
3. Long-press and swipe the conversation to the left to delete it.

To delete a conversation from within the conversation window:

1. Launch the Kayako app and sign in to your account.
2. Tap a view to see the list of conversations.
3. Tap to open a conversation.
4. Tap the menu (...) icon and select the Trash conversation option.
